Welcome! This calculator will help you determine the total cost of implementing all or part of the BioTechBuilder curriculum in your classroom. The curriculum licensing and kits are available through Carolina Biological Supply. However, each topic requires additional materials (the needed-but-not-supplied list), which are listed below along with recommended quantities for a classroom of 24 students (6 groups of 4 students).

For most items, we have suggested three options for you to choose between based on your budget and needs. All brands and specific item recommendations are suggestions based on what we use in our Learning Labs at BioBuilder. However, you may obtain these materials from different sources and use other brands, as you see fit.
